The Five Keynotes

One framework. Five conversations.

Five conversations, each built from real CEO experience — not theory. Every talk is customised to your audience, your sector and your stakes.

01 · The Story Keynote
The Unconventional Route
Format 30–60 min keynote · Q&A optional

The story behind the Grand Stevie. Nurse to 5× CEO across Australia's national peak bodies. Two sets of twins. Three degrees. One Grand Stevie plus six others in one night at the Marriott Marquis. This is the keynote that decides the ceiling is higher than they told you, and shows your audience how to lift theirs.

What your audience walks out with
  • The four moves that turn imposter syndrome into operational momentum
  • How to build a career when the orthodox path isn't available to you
  • The leadership permission slip most people have been waiting for
  • A framework for deciding which mountain is worth climbing next
Best for: Awards galas, leadership conferences, professional association events, university graduations, milestone celebrations, women's leadership programmes.
02 · The Culture Keynote
The Drift Diagnostic
Format 45–90 min keynote · or 3-hour board offsite

Every organisation drifts. The high-performers detect drift early and reset before it shows in the numbers. This is the 90-day diagnostic I've run inside every CEO tenure — the same diagnostic behind 67% revenue growth, $6.7M in confirmed bequests, and national reach into 12 million Australians at one turnaround alone. Culture, capability, and clarity: finding what's slipping before the board does. Practical, structured, and refreshingly free of motivational performance.

What your audience walks out with
  • The six signals of cultural drift most leaders miss until it's too late
  • A diagnostic framework you can run on Monday morning
  • The real numbers behind one turnaround: 67% revenue growth, $6.7M in bequests, 12M reach
  • How to reset without burning the trust you've built
Best for: Board offsites, executive leadership retreats, peak body conferences, organisational strategy days, change-leadership programs.
03 · Flagship
AI With Heart™
Format 45–90 min keynote · or full-day masterclass

The keynote behind my #1 bestseller. AI isn't the bottleneck. Humans are. This is the governance-grade framework for embedding AI into the operating model without losing the people, the culture, or the trust that made your organisation worth scaling in the first place. The most-booked keynote of the 2026 cycle.

What your audience walks out with
  • The Annify AI Operating Model: what to automate, what to keep human, what to retire
  • The five governance moves every board must make before mid-2026
  • How to roll AI through your team without losing your best people
  • The honest economics: what AI actually costs, what it actually delivers
Best for: Industry conferences, AI summits, peak body annual events, C-suite forums, board AI briefings, government and association sector events.
Also delivered as: AI With Heart™ — The Trust Edition, re-cut for membership bodies, customer-facing service businesses and organisations where the relationship is the product. Twenty years running peak bodies and businesses built on retention taught me exactly where AI strengthens trust, and where it quietly erodes it. Best for membership AGMs, retail and hospitality leadership, franchise conferences, and patient-experience teams.
04 · Financial Sustainability
The Membership Cliff
Format 45–60 min keynote · or strategy facilitation

Associations lose members even when engagement dashboards look fine. That's the cliff — the gap between "our numbers look okay" and "we're structurally unsustainable in five years." Built from the same turnaround that produced 67% revenue growth and $6.7M in confirmed bequests: the financial-sustainability playbook most boards never get told. Not a trend talk. A balance-sheet talk.

What your audience walks out with
  • The three leading indicators of membership decline that predate falling numbers by years
  • Why "engagement is up" and "we're dying" can both be true at once
  • The revenue diversification model behind a real 67% turnaround
  • A board-ready framework for the sustainability conversation nobody wants to start
Best for: Peak body conferences, board strategy days, CEO forums, membership and revenue-focused events, association AGMs.
05 · General Audience
Human + Intelligent
Format 45–90 min keynote

Every business now faces the same choice: bolt AI on as a cost-cutting layer, or build it in as a force multiplier for the humans who actually run the place. The organisations that pick the second option don't just retain trust — they compound it. Deliberately broader than an association-specific talk: built for any conference where "AI and the future of work" is the stated theme.

What your audience walks out with
  • The Human + Intelligent framework: a 2×2 for mapping where AI amplifies vs. erodes trust
  • Why "AI-first" is the wrong goal, and what to aim for instead
  • The retention math connecting trust to revenue
  • A same-week action: one process to hand to AI, one to protect as irreducibly human
Best for: General corporate conferences, "future of work" themed events, cross-industry audiences, mixed-sector summits.
Beyond Keynotes

Four other formats I'm regularly booked for.

Many events need more than a 45-minute talk. These are the formats I run alongside the five keynotes. Sometimes instead of, sometimes in combination.

01
MC & Host

Full-event MC for galas, conferences, awards ceremonies and government forums. Ticker News TV host with thousands of on-air hours.

02
Panel Moderator

Boardroom-grade panel facilitation. Equally comfortable with C-suite, ministers, sector leaders, and clinical specialists.

03
Workshop & Masterclass

Half-day and full-day formats built around the five keynote topics. AI governance, board readiness, women's leadership cohorts.

04
Boardroom Briefing

Closed-door briefings for boards and executive teams. Confidential, direct, and structured around your specific decision pressure.

Recent Stages

The rooms I'm grateful to have been in.

Beyond the Keynote

Not every engagement needs a stage. Some need a partner.

Keynotes and MC work bring the energy. The deeper work — the strategy days, the governance reviews, the AI implementation programmes, the executive education — happens through Nexus Leadership.

Before You Book

Questions event organisers actually ask.

Can the keynote be tailored to our industry or audience?

Always. Every booking starts with an alignment call so the examples, language and case studies fit your sector — whether that's an association AGM, a corporate leadership summit, or a health and allied-health conference. No generic deck gets delivered twice.

What are your speaking fees?

Fees depend on format, location and whether a workshop or masterclass is added. Get in touch with your event details through the form below and you'll have a straight answer, not a runaround.

Do you travel outside Sydney, or internationally?

Yes. I'm based in Sydney and speak nationally and internationally — ADONZ's 2025 conference in Christchurch is a recent example. Virtual and hybrid delivery are available when travel isn't practical.

Is this suitable for a non-technical audience worried about AI?

That's most audiences, and it's exactly what AI With Heart™ was built for. No coding, no jargon — the framework is plain-language and grounded in twenty years of actually running organisations through change, not theorising about it from the outside.

What's the difference between a keynote and MC booking?

A keynote is content — one of the five signature talks, delivered to make a specific point land. MC work is different: I run the room for the full event, hold the energy between sessions, and keep things moving. Some events book both.

Do you offer workshops or a longer format, not just a keynote?

Yes. Most keynotes run 45–90 minutes, and several are also available as a full-day masterclass for boards or leadership teams who want to go deeper than a single session allows.

What technical setup do you need?

A lapel or headset mic, HDMI feed to the venue's projection system, and a confidence monitor if the stage layout allows it. Full technical requirements are confirmed ahead of the event once the format is locked in.

Can we see you speak before booking?

Yes — the showreel above is a good starting point, along with videos from Annie's NSW State Library book launch and her Grand Stevie Award win. Happy to jump on a call as well.

Book Me to MC or Speak

Tell me about your event. I'll come back within 48 hours.

The more I know about your audience and what success looks like, the better the keynote. Every detail in this form helps me arrive at the right talk for your room.

Every room is different. Every audience deserves a talk built for them. Not pulled from a slide library.
